smarty tnt-r pod vs beta 4.2 on 03
Just wondering if it will be worth upgrading to the pod, from the beta 4.2. Anyone run it on an 03 or 04? How does the power compare? Thanks. I know once i change i cant go back.

You have to be more patient...
I've run it all at one time or another and it is still a personal choice or preference and each tune behaves a little different on each truck so predictions are difficult.
The advantage of the later tunes is the adjustability of the different aspects (timing, torque management, pressure, rpms and etc.)
You won't be able to duplicate fully the 4.2 with adjustments, but the later tunes are more linear and less "twitchy". The latest tnt tunes are a fair amount more powerful than beta 4.2 at the top end.
The current Revo tunes seem to be nearly as powerful as the TNTr tune Marco gave me a couple of years ago which was definitely more power than the 4.2 (or 4.3 or 4.4)

Ok cool, I forgot it said that (but I thought it only said the shift light wouldn't work)... But Thank you so much... I also noticed that the reverse lights weren't coming on in reverse with the truck running... I'll change it back to stoke option and report back...

what RPM do other tunes go to vrs beta 4.2?
I have tried tnt and my truck pops out the exhaust? and it did not seam as powerfull as beta 4.2. But when I was trying that it was like 4yrs ago.
Is there better TnT tunes now?
I think the 4.2 will go to 3,600 rpm right? and other tunes 3,200?

Not sure how high the rpms go, i havent tried it. But i have been trying the tntr pod all weekend, and i really like the 4.2 alot more. The power is just better on my truck all around. I towed some light loads, and even on higher settings it doesnt have near the power of the beta. I dont get it, but out of all the tunes i have tried i like the 4.2 the best. The only downside is the adjustability isnt there. I do tow quite often, and just turn down the 4.2 to level 3, and everything seems ok. But i do like the pod feature.
