Smarty Revo/R!!

This thing is just awesome in power wise, I was a skeptic at first but man this thing is insane. With catcher level 8 rpm limit 4000 torque managament 4 timing 3 and rail pressure stock this thing is crazy. I have to re learn hot to drive a stick because it's so touchy. That is really the only level I have tried but am gonna try the added timing catcher programs today. I will be pulling tomorrow and was wondering which settings I should run? I am really new to this so kinda looking dor some advice on what settings? I should have 2-3 chances tomorrow to run different settings but where should I start at? Gonna be running 4th on the low side the first pull then go up to 2nd high. But hands down this thing rocks.

Little more info took it out again today this time at the level you suggested sloverado and it is even more powerful. I got on it in 2nd gear climbed to 4000 so fast I didn't even get time to shift, shifted to 3rd and all ready at 3300 broke the tires loose and took me sideways and climbed to 4000 agian quickly. I am still amazed at what this thing does at 2500 Rpms+ it's just amazing. The one thing I am kinda wondering about today I bumped the rail pressure setting up to level 2 and raises my rail pressure about 2000 across every rpm band. Kinda thought it would pull it down but it doesn't even with stock pump. I run more RP with the smarty then on stock. I was kinda wondering if I bumped it up to 4 would I be able to get a couple more thousand and get me up into the 20,000PSI. I will have to say DO NOT get this tune if you do not have springs, it;s just so uncontrolable above 2500rpms you don't have time to shift before it's at 4k.

That's why there's an option to turn the 4k feature off.

You don't need to. It does that anyway with standard Smarty programming.

Stock is like 3200 so it's only about 300 RPM higher.

well, standard smarty software ( 170 hp) will kill a stock auto trans, or stock clutch.
standard smarty software ( 170 hp) requires fuel supply upgrade to use its full potential
standard smarty software ( 170 hp) requires an upgraded turbo to fully utalize it

now the revo software ( 250hp) is alot more agresive, the race software alows for more rpm, and no defuel on shifts.

so yes its realy cool what its capeable of, but remeber... you are your own warrenty, its rely easy to make alot more power thsn what stuff can handle.

From what Bob told me the TNT is no more its now called Revo. I would think to run the non rpm tune you would need: Tanny, turbo, and fuel supply. If your running big injectors then a cp3 or two and a biger turbo. Studs or retorqued stock bolts would be cheap insurance. For the Revo/R or to run the 4000k all the above with the addition of springs.

Well I understand tranny, turbo, inject, cp3, studs and maybe ring, but is there something else I am missing? I pretty much figured out the usual, but that is a lot of added power. I am going on a spending spree next month and want to make sure I have everything covered. Thanks guys.
