Can you set a level and then unplug the Smarty and have that level stay? Setting a low level and putting the Smarty away makes for a nice "valet" mode whenever someone else might be driving the truck.

Once you go with the POD, you are stuck with what ever program you get loaded, for example, go TNT with the pod and you can't run TNTR or any betas. Correct? I like the option of choosing power levels on the fly but I like more, the option to switch between tunes. Either way SMARTY rocks.

My question is....when will we see an upgrade that allows multiple programs to be stored, or FASTER program upload speeds. I love my smarty, but 40 minutes is just a bummer when you try to DYNO or race and run multiple programs. OR......(LOL) a smaller sexier version almost like a tst that can be mounted...THAT WOULD BE THE CATS MEOW!!!!

Before this, I didn't run my Smarty as much on the road because I couldn't change levels. I got caught by a mustang and a mercedes when I was on level 3 to keep smoke down
With the new POD, I don't see a need for any program but the one my truck runs best (highest HP) on right now (TNT-R, SW 7). For economy/no smoke I can turn it way down: 30-40 is fine for accelerating around town; all the way down to 22 cruising on the highway straight and level; then up to 99 if I find a dyno or a race.
When you load a lower program, say 3, all you do is limit how high you can adjust your power. On level 7, if I set the POD to 05, I don't think I could even get the truck up to 50 mph on level ground! Punch 99 in on the smarty, press the gas pedal 2x, and I've got full power (no downloading)!

I understand how the pod works. What I don't like us the wait time to change the programs. And I run level 9 all the time anyway. The only time I would ever need the pod is for towing. I am very happy with mine. I will continue to be content with it. But I for 1 think the r&d could have gone into a better box design and a mounting pod. These are just the ramblings of a happy customer. No pod for this guy though. I will put the 200 towards other mods.
