Just so you know that the Smarty's HP levels are actual increases rounded down to the nearest 10.

So if you want to know your HP then just add 170HP to your actual base line HP number and there ya go.

The Smarty numbers were dynoed using an upgraded tranny and not a stocker like yours so you will most definetly see lower ten advertised numbers until you get a real tranny.

I wouldnt count on seeing 450-500 HP with a Smarty alone and a stock tranny along with stock everything else.

But you can alsway be optimistic

Smarty #9 is easier on my clutch then the lower levels like #5. It's requires less pedel to get up tp speed and since it fuels harder it spools sooner which is all easier on my clutch funny as it sounds. I have also told other members this and they agree with me.

This is all on a 03-04 with stock software. Give it a try and you will see what I mean. Theis of for everyday driving and its possable to go WOT just as long as you dont lug it down low in the rpm., I can slip it #9 at WOT at 1500 rpm but it will hold WOT at 1900rpm and all through the rpm band. I can get agressive at the lower like 75% throttle and then got #WOT at 1800.

i tryed that for a while and it held for a day then all of a suden i noticed the tach moving but the speedo wasnt...

all is currently good after the clutch cooled down , but im currently saving for both a clutch and a hub conversion.. so i got to take it a little easyer..

My mileage seems to be doing very well on Level 9, based on my own visual of the fuel gauge. I have become so used to my truck now I can look at the fuel gauge and guess pretty close what my mileage has been since the last fill up. I shoot for 300 miles by the half way mark. This tank is looking good so far even with a little "playing". Hopefully i will be at 16.5 to 17, which is pretty typical for my particular truck...hand calculated.

I know the Smarty is conservative. I dyno'd at 397 on level 5. That was 120hp over my stock run of 277........and level 5 is supposed to be 90hp w/timing. These are on a dyno jet.

I'd like to get a run on the DJ with the Smarty set to Level 9 just to verify the numbers. I need fuel pressure and a tranny and a turbo, no doubt. But a run on a dyno shouldn't hurt much for a couple of minutes. (famous last words )
