So your saying #0 on the SR. is standard original and #2 on the Jr. is standard original.

If not you've really got me confused!

I know that timing 0 & 2 are the same on the sr and thought so for the jr.

I believe you get the smarty jr originals in the REVO update BUT, with the correction on setting #2 that used to be the same as setting #3. That was a defect that was corrected with the Revo software so that setting #2 really will be about 75 hp instead of 100hp. Correct?

So the most aggresive would be:

power setting 3
torque setting 2
timing setting 4

or is it default

because this is really confusiing

All even numbers on the SR are stock timing. The Sr. and Jr. are two different animals now with the adjust option menue in the jr..

Why would Smarty have default timing and stock timing as the same parimeters. Think about it, it just doesn't make sence.

Please don't make the adjust option menu in the Jr. any more confusing than it is by introducing Sr. information. You really had me and alot of other people confused.

If #2only is correct with the below information then you are correct with the most power output.

Torque Management

# 0 - Default
# 1 - Stock
# 2 - Mild
# 3 - Soft ( less than # 2 )
# 4 - Light ( less than #3 )

Injection Timing

# 0 - Default
# 1 - Stock
# 2 - Smarty standard
# 3 - Mild ( less advanced than # 2 )
# 4 - Advanced ( more timing advance than level # 2 )

That was my understanding, plus all the fun customizing if we want to

I have been trying different timing and tq settings, pretty fun. My question is can youleave the truck running while changing settings?

Could someone make one succint post that covers the following for those of us that bought a Jr, plugged it in, and that's it but now want to update the software and adjust:

1. How do I load the software to my computer. Links included would be nice.
2. How do I load the software from my computer to the Smarty Jr?
3. How do I access all these adjustments and what do they really do? IOW, what is a good economy, tow or power setting? What is smoky, what is not?

Thanks in advance!

if you search for (updating smarty) there is a nice post that takes you step by step with pictures on how to get the software onto your computer and how to send it to the smarty. I read it and it worked perfectly the first time. And if you read the pdf file for the revo it says also how you change the settings, plus its self explanitory when you plug it into the truck, it says change settings on the screen
