smarty jr TQ setting question
Ive got a jr. for an 07 5.9. My question is I know setting #1 on TQ is the stock setting and the safest for tranny, but what is the next safest setting? Is it #2 default or # 4? Ive been reading tons of post and gotten different answers. Some claim TQ is actually management that vontrols torque meaning more management less torque at wheels. And some claim its just torque with 4 being softest
Sorry and running 5.14

If you run SW2 (SoftWare 2 or Level 2) you can run TQ on 4 for the safest tranny setting.
The 5.14b version that you have has the best linear throttle response and you can probably get away with TQ 3 or 2 and just be easy on the go pedal! I run the settings in my sig and have 120k on the stock clutch and as long as I go easy on the skinny pedal I don't slip the clutch. Although a new clutch is in my very near future then I will go back to SW3 with full kill settings!
