Smarty Jr Torque curve?

Are there any torque numbers, graphs etc for the Jr.? As this is more of a towing program rather than racing the torque from 1600 -2500 is probably of more interest than the 40/70/100 hp numbers. Thx for the info. BP.

The smarty jr is going to be the smarty sr. levels 1, 3, 5.....and there's new software out....that being said, smarty's are known for their low end power/torque, so it'll be good for towing, esp the latest release that barely smokes at all....I don't tow, but i can vouch that there's a boatload of low end torque.

If they are the 1,3,5 tunes then I cant imagine anything else provides more low end torque, the Smarty is known for it as jg says.

Wink

the first run is #1 on the jr program.... disregard the other two runs..
this was on a portable dynojet inirtia dyno, the heavy wheel/tire package was not added to the corection factor, thats why #'s are skewed slightly low.. the opperator said add 10% to the #'s from his experiance..?

oh, and a teaser on the higher powerd run... on those settings, i ran it hard this weekend to see if i could get hot, i ran from a stop up a grade (7% if i recall) @4200 feet to 100 mph, i saw 1200 degrees.

Torque increase is roughly 2x 100hp or 200 lbft.

No smoke on my rig on level 3. I really had to lug it to get it to smoke and then it was not that much. Now sw9 regular smarty I can smoke a neighborhood if I try.

Is this a rough formula that can be used to calculate torque based on knowing only HP?

Or mabey closer to 1.877 rather than x2

Based on this, 325hp x 1.877 =610.025 flbs of torque, but is this a valid way of estimating torque?

Torque = ( hp x 5252 ) / rpm so so that aprox 2:1 ratio works if yur torque peak is around 2600 rpm... looking at numbers for the edge I think the 40hp box gives you 150 lbs of torque at low rpms.
