smarty jr timing questions
What effects of the timing options do the 4 settings cause on the smarty jr? I have it on tow (70) hp setting. just trying to learn my truck/programmer. I'm pulling about 5500lb up to 9000ft in the az heat(109ish) and want to know how to set my truck up and know what each of the changes are doing.
Thanks...

TM1: Stock (most retarded)
TM2: Default (2nd most advanced)
TM3: 3rd most advanced
TM4: Most Advanced
The more Timing the lower the EGT's, the more power, the more smoke, and the most efficiency.
Generally you want to run the most timing you can handle the smoke with.. Based on the temps and elevation you mentioned I would guess TM2 is going to be your best bet. Try to stay about 1300* and lower on EGT's.

Her'es what I've been running on. I like you have to get out off this heat. I've ran70hp tm4 tq2 thats pulling the boat or sidebyside/trailer. I have pulled the 32' 5th whell on that setting but for the trannies sake I'm running SW1 40hp with same timinng and torc settings. I did try last weekend doing TM2 but did notice a little differance in power to the lesser side and egts up 100+ from tm4.
Pulling around 5k it will smoke more only when your lugging it and heavy down shifts.
