Does the smarty make for a very sensitive throttle?

"Hello,
I try to answer to your questions:
Smarty JR has been realised for stock trucks. No other mods are needed. Smarty JR software comes from more than 1 year of research. Only the tests ask to us 1 month on the dyno bench.
Mileage depends most on the driving type. Using the truck in a normal and gently driving, we expect up to 15% of fuel economy improvement.
With Smarty JR we don't recommend any other modification.
Towing is safe with Smarty JR. Towing is the first reason to use Smarty JR.
Till now, the only problem we have found on Smarty JR software is: programming level 1 on a particular 2004 truck, Smarty shows an error message. For that reason we have published the new upgrade on our web site. In these days we are improving power management in 2003 trucks but the upgrade is not yet available, it will be published in the next days.

Smarty S06 adds more power and can manage modified trucks. With high settings on Smarty S06 (above level 5) we recommend aftermarket clutch.
Smarty JR adds up to 100 hp, this level doesn't require any modification."

I think it is time to order!!!
Kind of disappointing their English is broken.... For example: "I try to answer to your questions" ???

And what does "Only the tests ask to us 1 month on the dyno bench." What does that mean?

You guys that judge a man by his English should try a different web site , maybe one with forums on pronunciation , spelling , and proper sentence structure . I for one come here to find out more on my truck not to get an English lesson . I have seen good men chased away from here by judgmental remarks like that and find it totally unnecessary . Sorry about the vent but some of the best mechanics I know spell there own name wrong , why not impress us all and write him back the corrections in his language and then he can make fun of you .

You make a good point here. I agree.

Especially someone like Marco who has done so much not just for the smarty customers but for our "sport" (if you will) in general. Every improvement he has made causes competitors to improve their product which in turn keeps him busy for his product. In the end, we as consumers all win.

It is especially difficult to directly translate from another foreign language to English because of our unique syntax amongst other things. I think we can cut him a little slack here...

Well if my business involved conveying detailed analysis and explanations of procedures to a client, I would take the two minutes necessary to have someone that spoke the language of my clients proofread it!

If you can tell me what Only the tests ask to us 1 month on the dyno bench means I will roll over and play dead.

Hey, God love him for trying, and I slip up in foreign countries often myself. But the above sentence makes no sense to any one of us, and nobody said a thing about it. It could mean they have only tested the unit one month on a dyno, or they were asked to test for a month, or they will test in a month.. Who knows?

The way I understand it , mostly timing , some duration and no pressure . To get pressure you need to go to the regular Smarty not the Smarty Junior .

Level 1: Timing Only
Level 2 & 3: Timing and Duration... more aggressive on 3 than 2..

Boost fooling in all levels. No added pressure in any level.

You're not going to get a lot of support for bashing Marco's english grammar...go get an edge product, they have good grammatical structure...on their website, not on here as they don't participate here...most of us want the best product and support...MADS/Marco offer that, even if there is a tad lost in translation...and that 2 minutes can add up to time lost in product r&d....

Sounds like he wants a product made only by americans. Just a tad harsh on the language, this isn't pirate4x4.
