Smarty Jr and Edge Insight: Boost number reading?

Smarty Jr and Edge Insight: Boost number reading?
I was going to purchase the Smarty Jr and Edge Insight for the gauges for my truck and was wondering about the boost readings on the insight. Are they accurate or are they the "fooled" numbers? What if you ran the Edge CTS with Juice, does it display the "fooled" boost number or actual boost? I tried looking this up on old threads and couldnt figure it out. Thanks for any help!
