I would say it's more timing than anything on the SR. The Sr only has one more timing advance than the JR, and you have the rocktech on the Jr.

thx for thr response AH! the rokktech at full advance is only 2degrees so i dont think its that much more, but i appreciate your incight on things my friend! like i said, the engine just loves this, yes, u r right, the turbo is a little laggy. but when its lights, it just feels sooo strong! sw3/tq2/tm4 just felt so topend, kno what i mean? its hard to describe, but it felt like the engine has less lowend tourque on that setting. thx again AH, i will keep an eye on things for sure. oh, just a side note, on equal full throttle runs from 50 to 85mph, sw3/tq2/tm4 yielded 1150 max egts, while sw1/tq2/tm4 with the rokk yielded 900 max egts. i kno in-cylinder temps and pressures r up with more timing however,but thats still very low max egts and impressive IMO for the amount of power increase sw1/tq2/tm4 gives. later! p.s. my probe is pre-turbo.

AH, just out of curiousity, have u played with all the timing settings on the jr, and did u feel much difference powerwise? i.e, turbo spool, lowend tourque, things like that. my thinking has always been, more timing, more lowend tq. is my thinking wrong on this? srry for the q's. this stuff just fasinates me. i love trying to gain max effiency in everything so im trying to find it with the jr. i must be adhd! lol thx for your response buddy.
