Smarty half power mpg gains?

So I'm looking at a smarty, the only thing that would make me get a Sr. is the half power mode. Is it worth it? Has anyone tried the half power mode and if so what kind of mpg gains have you seen?

Took a road trip a couple of years ago and went two tanks on the 1/2 power mode. May have seen ~1 MPG (maybe) but I felt it was dangerous as passing was very slow and you didn't have enough power to get around quickly.

It is really not a mileage setting, it is for when your truck can't produce smoke (nudge, wink, nudge - for emissions testing).

Hopefully someone else has better info.

So I guess its not worth it to spend the extra two hundred bucks on the Sr.

Only if you have plans for other supporting mods like bigger injectors, different turbo, etc.
Although it is nice to be able to control a little more than the Jr.

The more I think about it, this truck is my daily driver and will be for many years to come. If I do any upgrades they will all be mild. In the future the only things that I plan to add are a exhaust and a intake. I think the jr. will be a good fit for me. What is the highest SW on the jr. that will not tear up a stock truck?

you can run sw3 ( highest setting ) on a stock truck and be 100% safe.

I've been playing around with the SR. POD setting for a little bit now. POD 50 for my mostly city driving hurts my mileage as it will not get out of its way. Especally with anything in the bed or behind the truck.

I've now running TNT-R on SW8 POD 70 TQ-1 (stock), Shift defuel-Off, IT-2 (for aftermarket injector, but running stock injectors), RP-2 Mild, Waste Gate-On (stock, but using quad Boost fooler with stock charger). This setting seems to be getting me about the same mpg as empty on standard REVO SW5, but with 400-800# in the bed.

Well I pulled the trigger on the Smarty Jr. Found on used on ebay for 375 from Idaho. So on the Jr. can you adjust any thing but the SW level? It seems like I am seeing mixed information on this.

If it does not work when I get it ebay will cover me and I can get my money back anyway. Does Mads have a warranty?
