Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to the Dodge world. I bought an 06 quad cab but haven't picked it up yet. I'm looking at the smarty jr. Will I get better fuel milage with one of these units? What should I expect to get for milage just stock with the 5.9? Is their any other products a guy should look at. A friend has a methanol set up. Just looking for some helpfull information about the truck. Thanks for any help. Also, looked at the edge milage max. Any thoughts on that product?

we tried the edge milage max, quad max mile module and the smarty jr. the smarty jr is the only way to go , i am after maximum milage and long truck life not max hp, some of our mods were so slight they will never pay for the cost , the dynatrac was to expensive but i love it and would not go with out it, check my signature all of the mods that worked are here

I tried the Quad MMM and the Smarty JR, and as carl48 said above, the Smarty JR is the only way to go.

Been happy with the Jr. also.
Solid 1.5 increase with assorted driving.

17.9 overall avg weekend before last.
This included bout 850 road miles at 70-75, bout 150 city driving and a few speed exhibitions.
This is with a DRW, big brushguard and West Texas wind.

The milage you are all seeing with Smarty JR, is it about 1.5 mpg better than when you didn't have it installed?
Just hunting for your numbers...

My girlfriends dad has the MMM. he says about a 1.5 mile increase as well.

That's what I see with mine installed vs not installed.
I also have tried many other modules and one other programmer on previous trucks, Not one made a difference in the MPG deptment.

My XZT (regular) added 1-2 solid mpg's at first but now about1 mpg over stock. The dealer can't figure out why my milage keeps dropping.
