Dyno Numbers Are In With Smarty!

Was hoping for 600 but ran a little short.
The best run was with just the SMARTY on 9 and the TS box on about 20%.

We turned the TST on and started to lose a little power but it kept up the power in the later rpm's..(good info!). When the TST was added I think on level 2x1 it kept 590hp into the 3400rpm area.

This was with 12psi fuel pressure :-laf

PS Looks like I will start using the TST to pull with on the lower settings since the HP keeps up in the higher RPM's where I need it.

THANKS DAVID AND COMPANY FOR THE GREAT DYNO RUNS AS ALWAYS!!

Justin, you need a rail pressure gauge so you know where to go with your injectors. OH, and get that fuel pressure up!

Yup, definitely need more inlet pressure. I also have the rail relief blocked off.
Here is the pull video from Friday:

Thanks Chris. Yeah I was kinda hoping to get over 6 but oh well.
I guess I need to square up a couple things before that happens.
Truck still runs with the best of them in the street though!

I didnt intend to dyno this past weekend but a couple friends said they would pay for the run...so I said lets roll!

That's always nice isn't it...I paid for a buddies dyno run one day, but it was more for fun than posting real numbers.

Chris

im suprised it even turned the dyno roller

we were at a shop one day and a guy brought it an uber-fast cavalier with a supercharger kit. it laid down an amazing 146hp and 150tq and he was happy that a $3000 super charger picked that much power

Justin, With a bigger flow of supply fuel you will be well over 600....The torque numbers are a great start. The dyno is just a tool...what you can accomplish with your truck is what impresses us all. ks

My thoughts exactly

The VW smoked as much as a couple Dodges...was the funniest thing I'd seen in a long time

Time to call Don M...for the "smaller" sticks.

Plug something to watch your rail pressure. I bet that is the bottleneck.
