Smarty download
I need help with downloading a new software for stock injectors/aftermarket turbo. I searched the forums here, and found a post that said to download the 7-zip file (which I did) and that I needed to unzip this and unzip that-I have no idea what that is and how to do it. I downloaded some stuff from the website and plugged in my Smarty, but decided to unplug it before I did something I would regret. So how exactly do I go about doing this, and which files and folders do I need? Thanks for any help...this has been drivin me crazy all day!

Thanks for the thread, I found that last night and tried that stuff.
One of the problems Im having is downloading the USB driver-I followed the directions from the mads website and when I type in C:/D2XX Drivers like it says to do it says that the file doesnt exist or cant be found; so I was wondering if I had to download something else to get that or what. I have downloaded CDM 2.00.00, SmartyUSB.exe and SmartyUSB.zip, now what? Im sorry but Im completely illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff...

Create a folder and unzip the USB driver into that folder. Now plug in the SMARTY with the USB cable to the computer. The hardware wizard will open and ask to look for the best driver and install, do not use this feature. Manually find the driver in the folder you created with the browse feature, and select it. The SMARTY will be detected. After that the SMARTY USB.exe program will run and you can select the version you want to load (after you downloaded and unzip from Mads website).
