x2 on that. now im just waiting for the release of it. 4 or 5k rpm would be great for these common rails. if I could make mine turn 5k safely it would be pretty mean

Cant wait til it comes out for all CR trucks. No speed limiter and 4k would be great. This may very well open up a whole new chapter for the CR Cummins. One question: does the TC/VB have to be built or tuned specifically for a truck rappin out to 4k? I mean, with a regular TC/VB, would it still shift at about 2900-3000, and then pull 4k on the top end, or would it wind up to 4 in all gears??

The springs on these trucks are weak to begin with so I am sure they uped the springs. Even with stock rev and stock springs you can kiss a piston in the right situation. Now I think with a cople upgrades you can safely turn 4000+ rpm.
