But if Marco keeps everything the same for consistency sake there should be some sort of SW #'s 8 and 9, unless he has some special low setting features in there and the 130hp version will be the #'s 8 and 9.

I have not seen where it mentions that the torque managment systems will still be enabled on the 03 and 04 versions, but I hope that is just a rumor and has no truth to it, cause that would really bite. That was one of the greatest things about the SMARTY on the 2nd gen version was the off idling fueling that would snap your head back.

Since you are close to the developer (Marco), can you give us a technical reason for the HP/TQ limitation on the 555 engines?

I don't think they are going to tell us the Full Details on the Smarthy until the product is released.

Then I think Bob will do a write up about it.

I'm dying to know the reason because no other company has said. It's always just a mystery. It seems odd, but it's not just the Smarty, so I'm just very curious about why. Bullydog supposedly had a crazy larry tune out for the 555 a long time ago in beta but it wasn't very driveable I guess. I hope they let us know!

Looking forward to it. Will it work with a Juice/Attitude even though it may be optimum with TST?

Sure - the miracle box works wonders on the 3rd gens...

Check out the numbers, when they're available - and see how repeatable they are... then how well it maintains the legendary CTD longevity!

Does the Smarty have any of the features the other downloaders have, like ability to read and delete codes, adjust for tire size (a huge plus for me seeing as how i have an 06 and the dealers dont know how to adjust them), and things like this? Also, someone needs to come out with a monitor to control the Smarty and adjust settings on the fly like the Outlook does for Bullydog.

I wonder how it will compare to the Bully Dog downloader. The HP/TQ levels seem to be the same and the BD does some nice stuff. It also costs a lot less. Hopefully we can see some comparisons soon.
