Gauges??

Does it have it's own gauge package or in-cab monitoring of egt/boost etc?

I love hearing that it is being designed with the TST PMCR in mind. Nothing like Dodge supremacy.

oh yeah the testing with Mark Chapple and crew will be an on going work in progress

We needed a truck that could breath more air. The power was extended way out on the rpm curve.

Maybe we can get justins 04.5 sled puller on the dyno

Thanks agains for everything justin

Doh! What changed between 05 and 06? Excuse my ignorance but, I just jumped into the 3rd Gen world just a couple weeks ago so I'm not quite up to speed on these things yet.

2nd Gen Smarty owners get a "return buyer" price if purchasng a 3rd Gen Smarty?

Kind of like the CaTCHer ECM buyers got when the Smarty came out?

What kind of torque does the programs add? Is it timing, duration, and pressure or just timing?

Box upgrades for TST

Big Dan:

The TST upgrades you are referring to include but probably are not limited to:

User adjustable timing in 3 degree increments.
Cool down timer.
Fueling (pressure) (limited to their latest box only)
3 Power option programs (singles, twins and hot twins)
And all the other functions you are used to from the PMCR

Pretty much this gives infinite adjustability.

Mudslinger:

Which box/dl are you referring to above when you say "it"? The TST or the SMARTY??

Tks.

It sounds to me like the smarty on 170 hp with torque management disabled is probably about like the scary larry in terms of power. That one has apparently been killing built autos right and left. It would be interesting to see a comparison between the two, scary larry and smarty on 170 w/o torque management.

Bob, The "test mule" was an '04.5 but what did it have for modifications to get these hp numbers. I just want to know what the starting point was. TST is usually stated with a modified airbox and FASS. ks

Difference here, is that on the 2nd Gens you have to tap the wire on the VP to get any more fuel out of her, and on the 3rd gen it is all electrical.

So Bob,

When do you expect this to be available for purchase? I have this 2nd gen smarty that is now useless to me since I bought my 3rd gen.

When can we expect to order one??? I am going nuts reading the posts. I can't afford the twins, cam and modded cp3 yet, but I can certainly spring for the Smarty. At least I can do the labor for that.
