Timing & Boost?

High all. I now have TNT running Sw9/TQ3/Tm2/RP2/WG-off. & I'm not getting the 42#+ boost I was getting with 4.4. I can get it up to 38# easy, but I can only get past that in O/D floored & then I have only been able to get it to 41#. It doesn't smoke much @ WOT (same as 4.4 +/-), & the truck pulls hard. But lower boost. What do you think? TIA

the tnt runs more timing, which will increase cylinder pressure. you'll make the same power, but with less boost pressure. its normal dude.

Dodgezilla04. Did you move? I thought you were in Paulsbo. Anyway, thanks for the info, I'm pleased with the performance of the TNT & was curious about the timing. I had the same issue on 4.11, & smoked bad too. This doesn't smoke bad at all, but boost was down. I'm waiting for my tax rebate to get here so I can get a RP gauge. Do you think my stock CP-3 can keep up with the settings I'm running? Thanks.

Yeah, the 4.11 smokes like at coal train starting off loaded. Is the TNT better about the smoke at lower RPM's.

No, I have way less smoke than with 4.11. I am running TNT timing -2 for aftermarket inj tho. I have never tried the default timing after seeing what it was like on 4.11. It was better on the aftermarket inj, & turbo,on 4.11. TNT with the settings I'm running now is about the same as that but with more power. I haven't had a real load on it yet to see what it's realy like. Empty, it seems about the same as 4.4 was for my truck. That wasn't smoky at all loaded for me.
