Looks like I need to get to the rollers finally. Good numbers, and great dyno tested results. Cant wait to see the # with a mooded cp3 and injectors.

Has anyone stacked this beta unit with an aggressive pressure box like a MP8 turned up or a Dr. P??

Question. With the beta version can you change the settings from pressure to no pressure without downloading a different SMARTY version?

I will be trying that today, but if the rail pressure pegs at 26K, it will be coming off.

SMARTY Beta

RAMTD02,

Can't wait to here your result from the stack with aggressive pressure. What pressure box are you using with it?

Another question to all:

Does this unit remove the speed limiter?

I want to KILL the top speed limiter and cruise limiter asap.

Then and only then I may download a newer Smarty SW than the original mild.

Not sure if this beta kills the top speed limiter or not, But I have seen 120 mph @3500 rpm with mine, but it is a g56, and stock gearing/tires will only go 99, so not sure if there is a speed limiter in it or not?

YEs...you can kinda coast up the that point...but it is not full fuel after 110 mph...unless something has changed. I am only at 2900- 3000 rpms at 110 mph defuel...so I have a lot of room for more out of the next 500-600 rpm's on the dyno.

I verifyied on a Dynojet in 3rd once...the numbers are skewed cause it is in the wrong gear...but I picked up 50-75 hp. How about full fuel till 125 ot 130?

well i dont feel the defuel kick in till 3300-3400 rpm, there I am rolling 115-116 mph, then she kinda slows...but not by much! But like I said could be different.

Nice numbers

All of this sounds great but every new beta threads are on 04.5+...is that because us 03-04 guys are left out, or there are no 03-04 beta testers yet.

Also I remember posting another place but did we ever ge a solid answers if the 03-04 Smarty gets hp increases and all the 04.5+ benifits as well or is it the same old program + pressure?

Thanks

I talked to Bob Wagner last week and he said Marco was going all out on his hot unit for the 03-04 crowd. Good news for you guys. Also, of course this same dual cp3 system/s are available for you guys too!

Well Tried too dyno yesterday again, and it seems i may have broken the dyno? First pull showed 172 hp, second showed 1002, pulls continued like that. They figure the software that mustang recently sent them took a dump!! No worries though, I head too work again tonight, so I will get some more MPG info, and on the 4th I am heading too the track if weather permits, so that should be a good indication of power.

FYI, I dont think I will be stacking a pressure box with this unit, as last night having it out with a viper the rail pressure high limit code popped up!! And I am not in the mood too crack an injector.

Jon.

the 03-04 guys are very happy. I don't have any 03/04 numbers yet but there are several beta guys out there.

The being left out phrase is getting old

I have very little problems getting stuff that works good for my 03. Hey Bob, would it be possible to test that software? I would like to try it out for the test and tune at the local drag track on opening day on the 12th?

Kevin
