Smarty Beta V4.2 Dyno'ed
Well Let me start by saying right now this beta program is amazing and no less amazing is the fact Marco has managed too make the smarty more powerful, more refined, and less heat and smoke generated.
I put my stock CP3, and Injectors back in for these dyno results, and tomorrow I should have numbers with my Hot CP3, and Injectors. And I took my laptop with me so that the numbers could be compared same dyno, same day, same conditions.
All are on a Mustang MD-250-HD Dyno:
Stock = 284/538 Max Boost= 38 psi, Egt's = 1150
Wild Smarty #9 = 467/968 Max Boost = 50 psi, Egt's = 1220
Wild Smarty #9/Dr.P Predator = 511/1042, Max Boost = 52 psi, Egt's = 1450
Beta 4.2 = 531/1038, Boost = 52 psi, EGTS = 1180
So Simply Put, The "Hot Smarty" Showed gains of 64/70 over the standard smarty, and 247/500 over stock with a reduction in egt's!!!!!!
The printer at the shop was not working, but I can tell you that 500 hp was from 2200-3300 rpms. Also I now feel the hard defuel at 3500 instead of 3100 rpms!!

I hope it's released soon as it sounds like my issues with the Smarty have been resolved and I can't wait to give it a try. Hopefully I'll be able to ditch my other programmers and finally settle on one.

It will be interesting to see if the new programming plays any better with the Juice - well interesting to some of us anyway. I think I'm going to get to find out on Sunday.

I wonder how this software would do with a stock turbo? Do you guys think it would be alright to run for a while before a turbo upgrade? Also with the beta 4.2 and a built trans on an 05 and no other mods, what turbo would you suggest to handle this?

personally I am running the SPS62 and seeing no problems with EGT's, I just finished re-installing my Hot CP3, and DDP injectors, and The most i see is 1400*F @ 120 mph. With the standard smarty I was seeing 1600, So there is a reduction of 200 will picking up massive get-up and go.

BTW, Ran with the G-tech pro ss, and ran a 12.85 @ 109 mph. Not sure how accurate, but at the 1/4 mile mark my speedo said 110mph, and i have certified the speedo with my GPS.

the beta 4 version stacked very well with my quad race. it felt just as comfy at the smarty wild and quad race. the juice should be fine. but the truck needs to be ready for it.
