jrussell, so you have compared the 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4?

If so, could you give me a run down on how all three stack up to each other in hp and ets?

Have a look at this product. http://www.obd2.com/

With this, you essentially have a DRB. You can actually send commands to the ECM, like injector tests, test relief valve, re-program, etc.

A 'little' more expensive though.

what do you mean "re-program" I looked at it and did not see any thing about ECM programing??? from what I saw it could read any sensor, with the enhanced software.
one thing to look at is how many sensors can be monitored at once??
if you can do injector test's then it would be pretty cool but look at the screen shots, the AE tool has a much better looking interface.......

I haven't compared all 3 at once but I have compared 4.3 and 4.4 on the dyno, 4.4 and standard Wild on the dyno, and 4.4 and 4.2 at the track. The peak dyno numbers between all versions were almost exactly the same (with 4.4 putting down a little more TQ than standard Wild). The beta versions all seem to produce peak power earlier in the RPM range than the standard programming.

I don't have many miles on the 4.2 and 4.3 versions because they cause a 2-3 shift issue from the more sensitive throttle positioning (at least on my truck). Similar to the standard Wild program, if you floor it with 4.2/3 and then let off 1/4 - 1/3 throttle there doesn't seem to be any power difference. The 4.4 version has by far the most linear throttle range, and even though it might not feel as "responsive" down low you know the same amount of power is still there available when you need/want it.
