It's quite easy to make a 100g in a year, problem is trying finding a place to live, buy some furniture, buy a vehicle, ......mobile home in GP $300k+, decent house is closer to $500k, and trucks are $50k+, and if your like Mork then mods are like $50k ....lol
Ron( if your like me you live in a van down by the river)

So -27C is about -17F, correct? (That is - if I remember my high school science classes)

I don't even want to think in minus numbers.

Well the dog has refused to go outside now and he is too big argue with. It was 74*, muggy, almost hot with wind out of south at 7:30 AM. Now it is 38* and falling, wind out of north 18mph and gusting, wind chill at 29* and falling. A cold rainy winter day on the Gulf Coast. Including wind chill a drop of almost 40* in a few hours. I miss the 90+ days already.

Yeah - I've shoveled (or at least tried to shovel) about 1/4 in. of ice off the driveway twice so far today. I don't mind the snow - just can't stand the ice.

Oh - and I live at the entrance to our subdivision - it's a good time watching people trying to make the corner - oh well I wanted a new mailbox anyway.

Yah , I'll hand it too yah, Winnipeg is one cold spot, I'm not sure I'd wanna be standing on Portage and Main, when it's -45.

Oh come on now, that cold air travelled all the way from alberta to visit you, show it some hospitalitiy let stay for awhile... I love texas, my sister lives in brownsville, I was looking at a little shack in Rancho Viejo, a spot to retire too, plus the realestate is still relatively affordable. Drive my dodge down in the winter and enjoy the warmth.

I don't know how yall stand the cold. The windchill here is in the 20's with north wind at around 20mph currently....i thought my face was gonna freeze walking NORTH to the mail box. ridiculous!

FYI for you northerners, if theres ice, sleet, or snow, everything in Texas shuts down. the majority of texans can't drive in the snow!
