Slow Launches
A Good Launch At The Dragstrip Would Be A 1.71 To A 1.75 60' Time. Now All I Can Get Is A 1.90 To 2.00 60' Time, Tq Managment Is Turned Off Scary Larry Loaded In Mp-8 About 3/4 Way Up , Everything Is The Same As When I Got The Good 60' Times But It Acks Like Tq Managent Is On. Anyone With Any Ideas Or Experienced The Same Problem....help

try turning the mp8 down , to see if the problem gets better or worse.
FYI I had the mp8, TST ,and scary larry stack and with the mp8 turned on it would just increase the smoke & increase rail presssure which all sounds good except it killed my hp & TQ #s across the board my truck on a dyno jet made way more power with the mp8 Off. I plan on calling dennis at TS to see if there is a better setting he can hook me up with or perhaps this mp8 just is not working correctly, which may be the case with your situation as well you just need to try some things process of elimination and test to see what works and what does not, there is a fix . you may also try removing the scary larry and returning back to stock then wait about 1 minute or 2 then reinstall the program back and remove torqe management and throttle sensitivity ect with scarylarry download . i recently had a friend who had the crazy larry and one day his truck just started to run badly he called me and said that some guy said that his injectors were starting to go bad and that he should replace them ? I told him to try and remove program then download it again and see if it helps . He called me back about a 20 minutes or so later and said guess what it runs great again I am glad I did not buy a set of $800 injectors! you never know it may be worth a try I have no idea why this could work but I have heard that for some it does work ? Go for it couldnt hurt to try , but first turn off the mp8 and see if it is better or worse, then maybe try to re download program depending on your results from mp8 turned off. Hope this helps.

try unloading the bullydog back to stock ecm settings, then reinstall download scary larry with the same settings your happy with and see what happens ? I had a friend who had the same thing happen & it worked for him. sounds like torque management problem this creates slow boost launch.
remember to delete torque management and throttle sensitivity , post back let us know the results.

I cant help ya much...
I would make sure it is the correct scary larry before I re-wrote over the one you have now...
My mp-8 went wacko a while back. With it plugged in, the rail pressure dives so low the truck dies. I need to get it replashed. Right now Im running an EZ and it doesnt feel as strong...

I also had MP8 problems when stacked with a Bullydog.
I have noticed that Scary Larry doesn't play well with others. When stacked, it will smoke more and take longer to build boost to get going good. At first it doesn't happen, but a week or so after its stacked it starts acting weird. This is why i sold my TST and Quad box because the Bullydog doesn't like to play well when stacked....all the time anyway. Some trucks never experience this, some trucks do.
Right now i have Scary Larry and my Dr. Performance box stacked....I'm really liking it. Rail pressure is at 25-26k now under WOT where before it was 22k.

Your funny, Try taking the duals off and maybe the box, remove the seats ...then put on drag slicks and you might have a chance at a 1.70 sixty second. I launched at anywhere from 5 to 25 psi in 4wd with a little more power than you have and 1.89 was the best I could do...It's a weight versus traction matter. If all 4 wheels were locked for the launch at 10psi...ya might get there. How is it pulling through the rest of the 1/4....what's your ET? ks

I have never ran the 1/4 but I did the 1/8 a couple weeks ago. I didn't boost it up on the launches and I had 2.0-2.3 60ft with a 8.3 in the 8th. This is all with a G56 in a qc 4x4 with 315's. I was running just a Smarty.
