Single 6" Miter Cut Stack
Well I have seen a lot of guys with stacks and I decided I wanted one, especially for the track where I have major problems smoking lights. Took me a while and needed help from Michael at HotRodDiesels to help finish the under truck plumbing. But finally done. I did copy a couple of installs, Redram410 on this site and StrokerAce on CompD, but I did a few changes of my own.
First I had to do Bling, Bling Staxx Clamp, Aero Turbine 5050XL muffler and Iowa80 6" Miter Cut Rain Cap. Everything else is as cheap as I could go. Stack is just 6" Aluminized Exhaust pipe cut to 45* and painted with stove spray paint. Other parts either in the garage or ordered from www.airflo.com.
It came out pretty good, but LOUD, louder than I expected with the muffler, but the sound is very good, just very loud.
Couple of pics, not good because it was at dusk and I suck at picture taking. Hope to get videos with sound this weekend at DHRA Texas Nationals.
What I started with:
Stack, clamp and base fitted and done:
Finished with the stack:
Underneath muffler and plumbing:
Pics with Rain Cap:

The Bling, Bling (translate $$$) is from Iowa80.com, the mounting bracket fits inside the stack. It opens from the top, not the bottom. When I opened the box and looked at it and the stack I thought no way this thing works, took me a while to turn it upside down.
But it is a little over the top for me, but the more I look at it and drive with it the more I like it.
It is loud, but definitely a good deep loud. My teenage daughter thinks it is wonderful sounding.

The cap has a hard rubber/something liner around the inside edge of the cap, it is silent or certainly can't be heard over the exhaust.

51" Donaldson muffler is your friend when it comes to a stack!!!
my straight 5" turbo back to 7" stack was only cool for about two weeks before I decided it was CRAZY loud..even worse when towing....I HAD to get a muffler
love the stack tho it's worth the noise and the soot mess..
