Silver Bullet questions

I am looking at an II Silver Bullet for my 03. What kind of boost numbers are people seeing with them? I'll be buying a clutch and pump before I put it on, as well as studs..... current mods are in my sig. What HP numbers as well as 1/4 times could I expect?

boost is all about how much fuel you are pushing. I can hit 55 or 60 with my Silver Bullet

Well I have enough fuel with the PPE/TST stack, all it does is smoke with the stock turbo.

Don't over look the pro street 66 from htturbo either. I think you'll be happier with their customer service also.

a guy up here in canada is running low 11's with his silver bullet on #2 alone, high 10's with nitrous. Couldn't tell ya what his boost numbers are, but i thought i over hear some one say 72 psi. The turbo is easily capable of 800+ hp. So your PPE/TST stack might have it @ around 55-60...maybe

I love mine decent on the bottom end for a big single, awesome when she is spooled up. Once she hits 20psi its @ 60psi in a blink. I got 568hp and 1049tq with stock cp3 and injectors and no h2o/meth(TST/BD CL stack).

Along with the fast spool of the silverbullet, I like the sound the most. I swear it sounds like you are in a Boeing 747 fixing to take off from Raleigh Durham International !

I think it is the same size, but has bigger wheels on both ends, and polished

First off nobody will be able to tell you what your ET will be since you have a 5 speed. Manuals are not designed to be drag raced and you can gain or loose 1-2 seconds based on your driving stlye. I hope your not build this to be a racer since its boderline stupid to put tons of $$$ into a manual to be competeive at racing since a built auto will run circles around your manual dollar for dollar. If you had a auto you'd be deep into the 13's but with a manual with a monster clutch you will be in the mid 14's....like me

Our trucks are alot alike. I have a 03HO 6 speed with a Silverbullet, Smarty, MP-8. I'm 100% happy with the SB. It spools awesome and builds alot of HP on the top end.

As far as boost goes...well I still have a stock clutch so it can hold full power with a big load. I can see 40ps, and probably a little bit more once I get a clutch.

Why are you doing studs? I mean if you have the $$$ yeah why not, but its not needed at your level. Hopefully you will stop before you start if this is being built to drag and to do well at racing like 12's because it will take you alot more $$$ to get a 03 SO 5speed manual in the 12's vs selling it and buying a 04.5+ auto that will run 12's all day long.

goodluck and feel free to PM me if you need more info

No offense to be intended.....but that is an ignorant statement above. There are a ton of guys on here with manuals SPANKING auto every day. See Banshee on this site. His truck is the fastest manual I have ever seen! The reason the guy is doing studs is because everyone on here knows if you are planning on running over 45 PSI then the studs need to be changed.

For your second post, this makes you seem a lot like a troll......
