So these dual cp3 do not require 40 psi+ of fuel pressure to work properly? I have a FASS 150 and I was concerned I wouldnt be able to get the pressure I needed for dual cp3s. But I have 22 psi @ idle, sounds like I have plenty of fuel for 800rwhp, nice numbers W1cked

BlackBeast,

You have some serious $$ in that truck, no doubt!! After reading all this, my opinion would be the injectors like others have already hinted.

Let the more experienced here correct me, but the 'quality' of the injection event is as important, if not more important than volume. This is one major difference in how the new trucks (3rd. gen) make more power stock than the older ones. Watching the high-pressure numbers might show something, and it may not. I would get back to basics in this area.

Just look at Pourin Diesels videos^ Relatively little smoke, and he is making some power. I know mine will make smoke more than that, but will turn into a grey color now with the new turbo.

Before I would spend more money on a bigger turbo, I would look at your fuel setup. W1cked has different injectors.

I wish you the best.

no, they do not. If you run to much inlet pressure it throws a code.

I can tell you with much confidence that a 71mm Aurora 5000 blows them both away.
Ok so the a5k is going to make a 230hp difference? I said it isn't THAT much larger, never said it was not larger. BTW I wasn't trying to sound....umm...well I don't think I can say it but you know what I mean...about my HX40. It is a nice step up, not the finale of turbos. But, mine is different, I gurantee that.

I still say that you need to figure out what your current problem is and solve that one instead of going and throwing more parts at it and potentially causing even more problems.

I think it all depends on what you do with the truck. I see local guys pull with the a5k and it does the job. Ive seen the one on pourins trk when it was installed, its a big charger.
