seat belt/open door buzzer - how kill it?

Anyone know how to kill that little buzzer that goes off when the doors are open or when the seatbelt is not clicked? I hate that noise.
Thanx.

Verbatim from the Manual:

1. With all doors closed and the ignition switch in any postion except On or Start, buckle the driver's seat belt.

2. Start the engine and wait for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn off.

3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle and then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds (I did it exactly three), ending with the seat belt buckled.

4. Turn off the engine. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.

The Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) can be reactivated by repeating this procedure.

NOTE: Although the Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) has been deactivated, the Seat Belt Warning Light will continue to illuminate while the driver's seat belt remains locked unbuckled.

Close the doors and/or buckle your seatbelt(its the law in Texas)...

Go to the junk yard and get a seatbelt. Cut the belt off. put the buckle into the clip. No more buzzer.

DO NOT DRIVE THIS WAY!!! BE SAFE.

For a 2006, a BDDL has an option for shuting off the seatbelt chime.

Same here. But when I do that, the controls on the steering wheel don't work. But I can listen to music with driver's side door open.
