scotty air intake

two questions 1) does the scotty air intake work with any aftermarket intake tubes? 2) anybody using the scotty set up in the snow belt-havining any problems with snow packing in it-like the factory air box? thanks. rob

I'm not running one yet, but you can take it to the bank that Scotty has proven the design against snow intrusion. He is one of those north of the border guys.

Have only heard good things about Scotty intakes.

Scotty frequents the board so he'll most likley chime in soon, and There has been quite a bit of dissussion on his intakes allready, they're popular on here so if you use the search button while your waiting for replies I'm sure you'll get some reading material . Don't think I'm knocking you for asking a question (it's a good one) just trying to help LCH

lch- i do appreciate the comment- i did spend over an hour researching the topic, reading at least 100 posts.- i saw a couple of posts eluding to the possilbity of an aftermarket intake tube working-but nothing solid-saying that no further mods to the tube were necessary and i did not see anything regarding any problems with snow intrusion either-hence, the reason for my post!

Wasn't sure if you knew about the search function.
Alot of the time for me I'll search for awhile and then just ask anyway if I don't find an answer in a few minutes, These guy's are so good to answer quickly most of the time that I can't justify searching for too long LOL. LCH
