Scan tool results for my truck using edge(sallyman)
As you all know i was having egt problems with my edge juice. I got hot unlock and turbo timer added and they sent me a whole new unit back in mail.
Anyways i scanned truck. nothing out of ordinary. I have 8000psi rail pressure idling and 17000psi when i rev it up in idle no load. I tested the fuel pump with the scan tool and it checked out good. No air leaks on air to air system. I enabled high idle feature since i was in there. Now i can bump it up to 1100-1500 whenever. Edge swears their boxes never fail so im down to checking turbo out. I get egts high like 1500 when passing on stock with low boost. now i pinched wastegate line and i can easily hit 40 psi boost and my egts are better but i can still get hot if i lay into it going up hill. I can see 1100 easily going up hill unloaded with my foot at like 80% throttle on steep grade. is this normal?

Did you dump the Edge completely? And do you have an analog EGT you can use? I would go all the way back and start from scratch.....IJMO, but there is something dumping too much fuel or not enough air...With that said, where are you getting your BOOST readings from?

I agree, all the way back to stock. Check your air filter also.
My low boost problem wound up being a bad Isspro gauge.

im getting pyro and boost reading from attitude monitor. i had edge bypassed except for the attitude i got same readings. I hooked edge back up and it is WAY BETTER now but i can still creep over 1050F. I have to work her though. One thing I noticed is that i set the slip% display on the edge and when my tranny starts to slip the egts climb. could this be my problem all along? Cause when i gradually lay foot into pedal slowly without making tranny slip the egts stay around 1000-1100 F max.?
