As others have said 900+ has been made with 480 and a big secondary. You can't go wrong with that combo.
I run the 64/71/13ss and 480. Egts are very respectable hitting 1250. Steet running 750-850, dynoing 1150.
Spools good, makes very nice power.
Would you mind tellin me what hp you are at? Pm if necessary, I am wonder (one day down the road) when I go to twins if I should do a 62 or 64 on top, also (if you dont mind) what sticks are you runnin?

You ought to see the little gems I have laying around here lately. Makes that S480 seem like a secondary. The latest billet wheel version is pretty cool. We are going to see what it will do on two different trucks this weekend at two different events. I don't expect the quest for 1000hp on fuel to last past this weekend and I wouldn't be surprised to see closer to 1100hp.

i dont understand the difference in secondaries. i was under the impression that the secondary was just there to assist in spool up of the primary, and the primary flows all the cfm that makes higher numbers. why would a bigger secondary help hp numbers? seems like the big one would still flow the same, just wouldnt spool as fast with the bigger secondary.

also. I am looking at twins in the future. what is the biggest primary i can go with while still getting stock or better spool up? and what hp #'s can you expect from that setup? I know turbonetics has a 61/76 setup im sure thats pretty close to stock, but i wanna go bigger than 76 if i can.
thanks for bearing with me.

The S480 is a HUGE turbo when comparing it to my 62/71/13 secondary. If he has some turbos that are making the S480 look like a secondary, than the turbos he has "laying around" must be MASSIVE!

Nathan, I'd love to see pics of these behemoths! What are they being used in?

thats not what i meant. i get the difference between a 62 over a 480 and a 480 over a phat bastard....... what i mean is people talk about a 64 or 66 over a 480 as opposed to a 62 over a 480 making more power.

Most people dont do triple turbo's because of the complexity, cost, and the huge boost numbers associated with them.

Rob,

I didn't answer the phone today so I could get Tim's stuff done and I still didn't get his hot pipe and down pipe finished before the Fedex deadline. So it will fly out tomorrow.

I gave all the info on the new wheel that I have. It hasn't been released yet.

Here is a picture of the new wheel. To give you a rough estimate it flows about 80% more then a standard S400.
