If you follow Quad's posts, he has always hinted about a TST competitor type box. People want to compare his Xzillaraider boxes (Standard & Race) to the Edge and TST and BD Crazy Larry boxes, but that comparing apples to oranges.
Quad developed the Xzillaraider boxes for the guy with a stock truck looking for mild increases in performance. Quad built alot of safety and reliability features into the programming to help keep EGT's in tack. In short, these boxes were not designed for the guys with aftermarket turbo's, etc.
I'm glad to see Quad stepping up with an offering to match the high hp boxes out there. I really hope that he follows in TST and Edge's footsteps, and offers a box that does Timing and Duration only, with no rail pressure increases. Not only would our injectors thank us, but this box would immediately become stackable with all the fuel pressure boxes out there as well.

There's nothing wrong with some nice high rail pressure! People keep ripping on it but they are generalizing. High rail pressure all the time (like an edge EZ) is what hurts the injectors over time (read DonM's posts about this). I want to see a box that does it all. Heck, it wouldn't be hard to make the box have adjustability for ALL THREE things. You could have adjustments for timing, duration, and fuel pressure. If it's done right, during regular cruising the rail pressure will be near stock, but only when you lay on it is when it starts to kick in. IIRC the VA pressure box works like this but I just can't remember.
If this is really going to be a high HP box it had better do rail pressure to squeeze out everything possible.
IMHO,
Andy
