how many feet of cable...

no way...JMHO.

A warn 12k winch weighs 137 lbs with rope and over 150 lbs with cable.

So...your saying the rest of the assemble weighs only 150 or less?

Anyway...my 750 was a gross overstatment...but I bet that 500 lbs is really close.

From RA's site...
How much do the bumpers weigh?
It depends on a combination of factors to determine the weight of your bumper. A base bumper weighs 145lbs. If you add a Sport Guard option it will add 65lbs to the total weight. Keep in mind though that if you intend to install a winch in your bumper that you need to add the weight of the winch as well.

I am not getting the winch right away but I do plan on putting the front end leveling kit to help some.

according to RA the weight of the base winch bumper is around 150 lbs. and the weight of my winch w/cable was around 100 lbs. or so. if you want to get more exact, once you subtract the weight of the factory bumper you're replacing, the difference isn't that much.

there were times when i kinda felt the same, but when i look back at it i got a bumper that i've been very happy with, for a lot less than the others i looked at, with free shipping, and $450 worth of lights. push hard for the free piaa's.

The way I look at it, I kinda hope they are late and give me some PIAA's. I am going to order it Monday but one thing I dont like already is everyone I talk to there gives me a different price. My last ditch effort will be to talk to Mark and hopefully he will give me the best deal.

Took **** near 6 months to get mine and they didn't comp crap!!!! I actually cancelled order after about 5 months and 100's of promises. Called a week after I cancelled wondering where my refund was and talked to the guy I originally ordered from and he talked me into giving them a day to produce a shipping number and he did. I'm happy that I finally have it, but, it was a nitemare dealing w/them.

I guess we will wait and see if the "I told you so" comments start coming in another month. I just ordered up a front bumper $1220 shipped. 3 weeks, 4 max. they told me. Now I have to call the local Line-X dealer and see what they want to coat it.

There is only 1 Line-X dealer around me and they quoted me 375-400$
I called a Rhino liner dealer that we deal with at work and he said 125$ with that Solarmax which is not supposed to fade. What do you guys think? I know the older stuff faded in a few months but they say the new stuff is not like that.

You have to factor in the good buddy pricing too. All of our parts vans (approx 40+) and service trucks get done by this guy. He even said it would take some extra effort to not get overspray on it so it is cosmetically appealing. The liners are holding up in the vans but they are not exposed to sunlight like the front bumper would be and most of the trucks have caps on them.

I thought it was ridiculous to want 400 bones to spray a front bumper. Like I said, hes the only game in town for Line-X. The other one I found when I tried to call the number was out of service.

I really want it covered with bedliner but if my only options are between Rhino Liner and paint, I may just paint it. I need some input on this supposed "new formula" Rhino has out. http://www.rhinolinings.com/products/solarmax
On the video they say it has the same fade rate as auto paint, which if true, would be great.
