So what's the order of operations here.. read some of the pdf's on mads's site there and it's a little confusing.......

Can you adjust things like rail, tm, limiter with out "programming" anything? See, I was under the impression that you can flash the #'ed software. then after that was in the ECM, you can adjust the other options as will, and quickly.... not a big deal.. but what would be freaking cool is if you can program 25mph speed limiter in seconds, it be perfect for "security" per say...

Unhappy

Bummer, I thought the +230hp tune would be avaiable for anybody who wanted to download it.

So after 6 months of waiting I still cant get the +230hp software w/o personally contacting Bob Wagner and having a discussion with him about my truck.

I never felt the need to beg for a Beta program but it looks like that's what everyone is gonna have to do in order to have the full Smarty experience.

Not mad just bummed

No... what happens is you have to go and select your options. Those options will then imbed themselves into the main file. You then select the sw# you want and then download. If you want to change any option, you have to repeat the whole process.

Im feeling the same way. Its not that I dont like the Revo stuff. Its great for most. But I understood that this was going to be the 230 stuff. I think there is a big want for the 230 non RPM version.

Thanks go out to Bob and Marco. BIG THANKS. The upload into the Smarty was about half of the normal time. Did it still take the 7-8 minutes to load into the truck? What about changing settings? It's all fine and good anyways, as I can't load it until tomorrow when I get the truck back from the doctor. #2 injector gave up.

John P if you're listening, what kind of SW tune did you let me try at that dyno day in G'boro?

Thanks again Bob and Marco....Great product....still getting better.....

Chris

Where do we find the recommended RP settings if we have stock injectors?

How much HP does this new REVO put out? Its based on the 170HP with added pressure. I would not doubt that 170HP with pressure would be close to 230HP. I think everyone here is getting way too excited. Crank it all up and see what it does. Its a tremendous ammount over stock and if not used correctly will break all kinds of stuff.

I think I will stick with the 4.4 for a while longer and see how the revo works
out. I was hoping for something closer to 4.4 that you could add a little more
presure to

I uploaded the new Revo software today and my experiece with it is that it gives me a little more rpm(3300) than the Beta 4.2(3000 or so) before shifts...but besides that the 4.2 feels stronger, but it might be because the betas ramp the pressure up faster than the Revo, I know this because I hooked up my friends star scan thing which reads live data from the computer, anyways with the 4.2 at 40mph I would be at 12k but as soon as I give the slightest pedal movement it would jump to 22k and the truck would flat out move....with the Revo its more of a steady climb as I watch the boost pressure go up to 45psi, sorry for the long post but I just wanted to let everybody know my exprience. O btw the beta 4.2's max boost would be somewhere in the 50 range I don't know for sure because I would have a hard time handling the truck at WOT

Ok so I guess I too am another one that got confused on this. I thought the revo was the non 4k 230h software.. I am runnin 4.2 beta now and seems like its not quite as strong as any of the betas from everyones feedback so I think I may hang onto my 4.2 and see what happens with the revo and 230hp tune
