So the new revo software will get us to the advertise 230hp instead of the old 170hp assuming you have the supporting mods. Is this correct?

I was told that the Revo tune be the TNT tune and that it would be quite a bit stronger than 4.2. I havent had a lot of time to mess with all the settings but so far it does not seem to be as strong. I make around 43 psi of boost with 4.2 and with Revo 40 is all that I see. That might not mean anything but is the only think that I can use to measure the two right now. Saterday they will both be on the dyno so Ill get some numbers to compair. If the Revo tune isnt the TNT tune, Bob would I be able to get the non rpm version of it?

I can say with the 3.14 Revo TNT at level 7 feels stronger (butt dyno) than the 3.12 that I was using at the same level.

According to Steffano at Mads he said the REVO is based on the 170hp and the TNT is based on 230hp. My Butt dyno says that the my TNT non R is more powerful than the REVO. I have my TNT on #7 and the REVO on #9. The REVO is very powerful, just does not as powerful as the TNT.

Great programs!

Ok, I have everything downloaded and ready to go...

Except that when it comes to plugging in my Smarty to the computer USB port, how am I supposed to do that? I only have the thick black cord that goes with the Smarty? Am i missing a cord that plugs into the USB port?

Use a printer cable. If you look at the top of your smarty you will see where it goes.

How can you do that? Everytime you make a settings change in the program it has to be uploaded to the ECM.

Revo feels quite a big stronger on mine than 4.11 that may be because i have an 03 and we only get 130 from 4.11

Ok, still haven't seen a definative answer. Is the REVO on Mads based on the 170hp or the 230 TNT? Bob?

it doesn't work. In fact. I had the 4.11 software on. I updated to software #9... adjusted truck options. and well, TM felt like stock. rail pressure didn't seem to increase much. Timing sounded "good". Thinking, ok, well, hmm. I decided to set the speed limited, something I've never done before and it never limited me to 25mph!!!!!!!

So right now as I type this I'm in a parking lot going back to "stock" software. and then re-upload the revo... what there something I didn't read that required this? Anywho.

The even "odder" part is that I started to re-flash the truck while it was running, it never let me get as far as "Checking data" with the 4.11 software. Once the dash "dinged" I pulled the plug shut the truck down and proceeded to program to stock.

If anything, this thing just keeps "smoking" at just about all throttle imputs. Pulls nice on top tho, but smokes like there is no tomorrow.

Is the new REVO program the same as the last program that came out in Dec. with the exeption of being able to adjust rail pressure etc, or is it a completely different software program?

I am currently running 3.12D-2.11A
