Revo settings for mileage...what have you found?

Just recently regained internet access and 1 of the first things I did was load up the new REVO software onto the Smarty...

Now...since I'm several weeks behind, what settings have you guys found that have helped fuel economy? Anything?

Right now I'm running:
-SW #3
-#2 Mild TQ MGMT
-#4 Timing (fuel economy setting)
-#2 Mild Rail Pressure
-Wastegate off (boost fooling enabled)

Did a few mileage tests with these settings and still getting a solid 17-19 MPG. A couple of tests were a mixture of city/highway and the other test was a 215 mile trip that got me 19.15 (driving 65-70).

Not complaining at all with my mileage...just wondering if anyone has found anything that has improved their mileage even over the older Smarty software...

Lower tq # better ie. default. Dump/duration fueling at low rpm sucks fuel. Timing 4 is the best for mileage no doubt. Can't stand the rattle and engine vibration, can't be good long term. Rail pressure is what I can't decide on. Seems to my rig stock rail pressure is best in urban stop and go. On the highway or towing default ( level 2 ) nets the best mileage. However, I've no doubt, torque management levels make a huge difference. Filled tonight to the neck.......18.64 city unloaded no tow. Level 3, tq 2, timing 2, rail 1.

With:

SMARTY REVO # 7
TQ-2 Mild
Timing-4 Fuel Econ
Rail-1 Stock
Wastegate-0 stock

I was able to get 20.4 mpg over 450 miles (almost all highway) going 62-68 mph the whole way. My truck only has 15000 miles.

Revo #7
TQ-2
Timing-4
Rail-1
WG-1

Driving roundtrip from Las Vegas to Bakersfield, CA, I averaged 17.3mpg. Most of the trip was at 70 or under (under 2K rpm). There were a few, short, high speed passes. My electronic calculator was pretty accurate.

My next run will be Revo-5.

18.8mpg for my last fillup with the REVO set to #5, TM=1, Timing=4, RP=1, WG=Off. And that was a few weeks of around town driving with one 50 mile highway stint.

Man, can I trade ECM's with someone? I'm still hitting a solid 12mpg with my truck no matter the Revo setting. I get a constant haze when it's warm out, and my bumper always gets black, but it did that even before adding the Smarty. I guess it's a good thing I drive my truck about 2-3 days per week.

I'm going to try some of the settings suggested here and see if there's any improvement.

REVO TNT, sw#7, TM-2, RP-DEFAULT, TIMING-DEFAULT

Topped off the tank with about an extra gallon beyond the nozzle "clicking off"..

Drove 75-80mph, 37" tires, 90-105 degrees out, 13miles of (fast)dirt road, about 15 miles of screwing around in the desert, + 3 days of short trips to work and back. I just cracked 500 miles on the Odo and I still have a hair over 1/4 tank left..

Should crack 600+ miles EASY on this tank, and that is with Tnt!!

I have a 1200 mile trip coming this weekend, and with normal REVO on SW-5, TM-2, RP-DEFAULT, TIMING-4 I don't think I'll have a problem cracking 21mpg with it being all highway..

I just switched to revo and I'm running
SW 3
TQ 2
Tim 4
RP 2
So far I've got 590 miles on this tank and it's just to the left of quarter still touching the quarter mark. This is the best I've ever done. usually I can olny get 580 before the light comes on. This tank was about 350 miles at 65-70 mph and the rest is my 8 mile trip to town and around town.

Sounds like you have some airflow or injector issues with the constant haze even when stock and the poor mileage.

Wow. I usually get about 360 to a tank or so...

Lifetime MPG avg. for this truck is 13.1, with a best tank of 16.1 with stock rubber. Last trip to LA and back (I put on maybe 1k miles) netted me about 12.5. My '03 with the same lift, rims and tires would get 17-18 regularly on the highway running the same speeds.

Maybe I need to look up Don M.? I dunno, but it sucks. At this rate I should have gotten a 6.7...

I've tried 3,5 and now on 9, max timing all for 1 week each and they all net me roughly the same mpg, 19, give or take .6, on the same route. 9 forces me to drive like an egg is under the pedal 'cause I know the tranny won't like it if I get on it. Also noticed 9 is less smokey than the lower levels....... Wonder what 1 with max timing will get me, I'll try that next week.

Filled up today. Ended up with 18.5 MPG with everything in sig. That is a 1.5 MPG improvement from my best of 17.
