REVO popping
I have heard of the popping issues with TNT but not with REVO. I am getting popping with sw7 tq3 rp2 tm4 Can someone explain to me what is actually happening? I am noticing it when it lugs in 2nd and 3rd gear and it just sounds bad. I know my stock fuel system is probably limiting but i want to know what i need to do to fix it. Thanks

Well, everyone had me convinced I was the only one that had the bad popping with the regular REVO. I run SW7,tq3,rp2,tm0 daily and like it alot. My truck runs even better/smoother with rp3. I cannot run tm4. That is the most timing and though the truck seemed to run a little better in normal driving, if I would nail it to the floor it was a different story. I thought the engine was going to jump out of the truck.
Bob told me they would be looking into it, but I haven't heard anything lately.
other than that, I have nothing good to tell ya. I just gave up on it.

Yeah, it has something to do with timing. My truck will only do it on TM4 with the REVO. Now on the TNT it doesn't it all the time regardless of setting.

I am pretty sure it has to do with Timing as well as Rail Pressure. There was a BullyDog tune that was given to very few people that caused some popping. After looking into it more, we narrowed it down to the Fuel he was demanding. Some of the trucks running his program ran awesome, some just popped and ran really bad. Well, come to find out the trucks that were running good were trucks with dual CP3s. So he changed some programming for fuel and the popping went away. It was not timing he changed just a fuel parameter.

I think he is just trying to tell you to try the least timing which would be 3. Mine didn't do it on 3 at all and I can actually run default 0 or 2 which with an odd SW is advanced timing. Just not as advanced as timing 4.

Exactly, just trying to see if it goes away for you, then you'll know what the problem is.
