Resetting TPS
Okay, so I am having some funny Tranny kickdown issues and flat spots on my HP curve. So I just disconnected my batteries for about an hour aand I want to make sure that I set the TPS right when I hook it all back up.
Correct me if I am wrong... Once it all powered back on. I need to stick the key in the ignition to the run position and in the first 30 seconds slowly depress the throttle pedal to the floor and back up. That should set it correctly right? Is there anything else I should do?
Should i unload and reload my BDTD as well and when I do should I reset the TPS after doing a DL?
I am just trying to do some trouble shooting to figure out why my tranny will kick down to first gear for a quick second under full throttle when I am in high RPM range in 2nd gear.
Any help or corrections would be appreciated.
