Removing all the Goodies to Sell Truck.......

Yep the Mega cab will go up for sell starting this weekend. I'm moving back to the dark side. I guess I can list it in Auto/Truck Trader and Cars.com.
I'm going to remove the modifications I put on her and sell them Via Ebay and Craiglist. I don't think I'll get any more money for it with them on.

I'm not sure what the best type of plug to use is for the EGT gauge heat prob hole in the exhaust manifold.
It's sure been a great truck. Proceeds from the sell of the removed mod's will go to a new fiver hitch and some of the regular monthly payment will go toward a new Chysler 300 for the wife.
It's been great, Thanks for all the help guys.
Joe

There's many reasons behind the choice to return to the dark side. I just hope it give's me as good of service as the MegaCab did.

My buddy has the same truck in an f350 in a King Ranch...I hope you got the Gas engine...He's getting only 8mpg average....so its in his garage awaiting a lemon law or for Ford to come up with a flash that gets him over 12mpg....He's back driving his companies 94 Dodge Cummins regular cab with the boss plow....still going strong and getting 24mpg...I know cause I had to borrow it for a week...Before the last flash he was only getting 6....he does a lot of short trips so it is constantly regenerating....not a grocery getter...probably fine as a hot shotter once its broken in and a good flash is had....the Fords have really nice interiors though

I don't mind the outside of the Ford's.... the only thing I don't like is the change to the headlights... the interior how ever.... I couldn't sit in one and look at it all day. Ugliest truck interior ever

For what it's worth, when I go pickup that "Turd" next week, I won't be paying a dime for it. So when the opportunity presented itself to drive a "Ferd Turd" for free and pickup the pink slip at the same time......................Well let just say I took it.

guys on the ford site are crying about the bad fuel mileage the 6.4's are getting. a few more guys have had ford buy back their trucks for various, continuous problems. but those blue oval guys keep saying the ford truck is better than the dodge!

8mg is exactly what a fellow friend and buisness owner is getting on his. Whats funny is thats the truck that ford gave him such a good deal on becouse the last 3 were total junk. Again good luck though. I hope your experience goes better. You should get back on here and let us know how its goin.

very nice truck, I would have done the same thing if I got a deal like you did. I just hope you dont have to pay for the fuel in that truck. but it is a good looking truck. I wish you could get a 5.9 in them.
