I have a Black Widow and our shop carries Crimestopper too. Almost any one will work, the only thing to watch for is that there is a relay to delay the start. Without glowplugs getting a signal that let's the starter know it's running is a pain. Most quality units have a 10-20 sec. delay option in the programming. This is assuming you have an auto, if you've got a stick the search is a little tougher as you have to get a unit that sences when the shifter is in neutral, or you could have a run away.

The real "Quality" units have a connection that hooks up to the grid heater wire. This way it waits and starts the truck the instant the wait to start light goes off. Much better then a simple delay start in my opinion.
Also on the maunual I don't of any that actually work off from nuetral in the transmission. The way mine works (and most) is that you put the parking brake on which triggers a relay that let you take the key out and it will keep running. Get out of the truck and shut the door, the doors lock and the truck shuts off, now it will auto start.

I got quoted a price of $259 installed. This included 2 remotes that will work my locks as well as an option that will not start the truck until the glow light is out. Seems resonable to me....
