Red Line Diesel catalyst causing rough start?
Anyone have this problem? It lasts for about 10-15 seconds then evens out. Doesn't seem to have taken any power, but it's a bit unsettling since I only have 14k on the truck.
Could it be possible to cleaned enough to clog the fuel filter?
I didn't fill up with 28 gallons at the same time put the Red Line in, Could it be bad fuel?
Unfortunately, I'm somewhat new to diesels and I don't know how bad fuel or water in fuel causes the engine to act.

Update
It does not smooth out, it will continue the rough idle even after the engine fully warms up. If you tap the gas there is some hesitation.

It's a diesel additive you add at fill up time. Says on bottle to add whole bottle for clean up or a half bottle for centane boost lubrication.
I added a half bottle.

I have no clue what happened. I have used it before but in a 12V. I did not like it myself.
ON another note: I see in your sig line you want to add a WVO system to your truck. I would not do that to a CR engine.

I ran it occasionally in my 2nd gen and it was great. The 2nd gen didn't like the PS products, did good with stanadyne products, and loved that redline additive. The place I bought the redline additive was always out of it, so I didn't run it as much as I liked to.

I'm wondering if it is bonding to water in the tank and causing it to pass through the filter.

try some seafoam in your next tank ( http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm )
However I really do like redline motor oil, gear oil and C+ ATF.
