Recon XZT install folly - advice appreciated
Leave it up to me to botch a simple install of some gauges.
Here's what happened:
1. I installed the boost and pyro tap a few days ago, but needed to wait for additional couplings for the transmission. The portions that were hooked up worked great.
2. I installed the trans sensor, started everything up, and.... nothing works. The boost reads 0, the EGT reads 32, and the trans temp reads 300.
3. I tried resetting the gauge set by pulling power, but when I reconnected them the same deal happened.
Advice?
I suck!

Hmmm, I re-bolted that thing a few times.
Idea: should I not have used teflon tape at every trans sensor coupler? Is that preventing the sensor from grounding? Should I have only used teflon tape at the actual trans connection?
Also the correct order of washers is (from left to right) sensor, insulator ring, wire to harness, washer, lock washer, nut. Correct?

The black wire ground must be good because the gauge worked fine for the first 2 days, and I didn't mess with that when I added the trans sensor

Did you guys seat the coupling that screws into the tranny ALL the way in? I didn't want to push my luck so I tightened it until it felt quite snug, but it's not all the way in.
