Recommendations for floor mats

I was unpleasantly surprised upon taking delivery of my truck that even the most upscale Laramie DID NOT HAVE REAR FLOOR MATS!!! How cheap can DC be?

OK, rant off. I put some small, individual rear mats in temporarily, but I would like something more substantial (i.e. one piece that goes all the way across the back). I also think the stock front mats are a POS as well. I have a feeling they'll be worn out pretty soon.

So, any recommendations? I live in So. Calif. so comfort wins over function (no snow and not much rain/mud) so carpeted mats are my preference. I would also prefer some that are compatible with the little mat locks (for lack of a better name) that hold the mats in place.

Thanks,
Neil

I would advise some Husky Liners. They are form fitted, stay in place, and are rugged. I love mine and I think that they should be the first purchase of any new truck owner who wishes to take care of the interior of their truck.

The weatherboots look pretty slick, but $250 for a F/R set? That's a little pricey and probably overkill for me. Any other carpeted solutions out there that have a one-piece rear mat?

Husky!

I have the Husky Liners! Nothing I like better! Functional and tough. And they fit like a glove! Plus they are a great investment and are fairly inexpensive. Best add on for my truck so far! Did I mention I like Husky Liners..............

When I traded in my '00 for my '03, the sales manager peeled back my Husky's from my trade-in and could not believe the condition of the carpet. My new '03 got new Husky's the following Monday after I purchased it on Saturday.

Husky !

I to would recommend the Husky Liners. I have used them through 1 Canadian winter and with all the snow i track in the truck they catch all of it. My carpet looks as good as the day i bought the truck thanks to these Liners. Excellent value for the money !

I vote for husky liners. I have had them in 3 different trucks and they always work great.

I have had both.... the Extreme floormats and the Husky....I was not overly impressed with the Extreme floormats. They did not seem to hold up as well as I expected. Color faded, did not hold water very well.....at least in my experience with them. Husky liners worked great. Currently have the the Formed Carpet Floor Mats with the aluminum Ram Head logo that I purchased at the dealer. I don't think that they are as good as the husky for holding water, but definitely look better.

I have the catch all xtremes and find them to never move, and are extremely well fitted. The one piece all the way across the front and back is nice.
