RECO XZT help???

Well, after finally getting the Recon delivered to the right addy, and having to wait for parts that were not with it but were supposed to be, I finally got it all plumed in and the EGT portion doenst seem to work.

In the "Set Up" directions, it said that when the truck starts, it would be at the EGT screen. /this one wasn't, but I'm not sure that matters.

I set all the codes and warnings per the directions, and the EGT just displays "32" and doesn't change.

Can aynone offer any ideas other than get differant gages???

Thanks.

Mine works flawlessly. Does the trans temp and boost work?

Only complaint: It is hard to see the numbers when the sun is hitting it.

My XZT module delivers power, but has alot of quirks that don't really hurt anything but are irritating.

The boost and trans seemed to work.
This AM, my trans still read "100" before start up, which it did yesterday, but the temp did go up when I drove.
I went thru every thing again, but no change. The Pyro still shows "32".

My tranny reads 100* when cold as well. Call quad, you might have a bad probe.

Called this AM.
They think the pod may be wired for the RP or just wrong.
I'm sending to them to go over.

The trans sensor screws into a test port.
I did install the pyro per the instructions.

It was missing the adaptors for the trans, so they sent them, then the gage did not work correctly.
I just got it all back togeather and today it seemed to work fine.
