There are a few TST's in the classifieds, I dont think most of them are the new boxes that do pressure. There may be an mp8 or two in there as well, so you could have a TST mp8 stack for the same as what a new TST would cost. You definatly want some pressure, on my truck i didnt like how the TST drove when it was by itself, but with the mp8 in there its way nicer.

Isn't the mp8 kind of like an EZ with 4 settings for pressure? (I don't follow the 3rd gen stuff). Isn't there an issue will running too much pressure (too high of a setting)? What setting do you run yours on?

The stock 03 injectors are going to struggle at 500 hp. Over that they will give up pretty fast. Longevity drops fast. TST-R49, Smarty, custom injectors, 62-64 choice of turbo, and an aux feed pump will max the stock CP3 in the 500's and give pretty good reliability/adjustability for what you want. Beyond, that its CP-3. rail, etc time.

Its infinitely adjustable from 0 to 100 hp of pressure but most only use 50 or so % of the 100 hp. It also changes what the map reads, so if you plug the mp8 in first it fools the TST into fueling sooner.

Sorry guys.. My comments were for 04.5 and up.. I have no experience with the 03's.. I read someone said they were worried about losing fuel mileage with 90hp injectors.. Your fuel mileage will actually go up a little with them..

I do have an 05' but I laid down 600 with the stock pump. Many other mods though with inj. and turbo, studs, springs etc. but that was also with Just Crazy larry. hoping mp8 and floor it pump or 2 will be over 650hp. Pump right now can keep the pressure up to 20-22k but I know it will need help with a box. 03' u might want to consider injetors.

With the mods in my signature I am right at 600hp running 12.71s 1/4s. That is with stock cp3 and stock injectors.

Can't you have TST reflash the box for the newer updated program?

But what is your rail pressure? Just because it will do it, doesn't mean it's good for it. Remember, the cp3 needs enough fuel for cooling too. If it's sending 100% to the injectors for fueling, you are shortening the life of your cp3 a great deal due to lack of cooling and lubrication.

Yes and no, it has to have serial number 5000+ to add pressure (i think). You should call TST and make sure tho.

I want to dyno on THAT dyno!

I had Hot Juice, mp-8, A3k, and stage 1 cp3 to get 505hp.

I have been at this hp/stack level for close to two years. I have 250-300 time slips over that period. I have been on local dyno at least 10 times testing stacks over that period. 76,000 mile daily driver and weekend racer. My fuel pressure with the FASS is 18psi normal driving and never below 12 on the track or full WOT. My rail pressure will go to 26k-27k at times depending on the stack levels and will drop below 18k some if the stack is too high, but I can tell what is too high. I do not worry about the cp3, I only worry about EGTs. The latest Smarty beta has made a big difference in lowering EGTs with my laggy IISPS66.

You are right it might not be good for it, but just part of the fun finding what is the limit that you are at.

Nice numbers!

Man I wish the TST was available for the later trucks!

Mine is around the same power and ET as yours, but I needed sticks to get there. Even with the larger sticks my CP3 is keeping up just fine though.
