Reccomendations on 35x12.50 AT's?? TIRE TIME!!
Well the 35x12.50 Toyo MT's are worn out! Im looking to switch back to an all terrain, but can't find much for a 17" rim in load range E. Reading through posts some feel the "D" range tires provide a better ride, but Im not sure of that?
Im looking for that hard to find combo...good looking AT tire thats doesn't wear too fast in a 35x12.50'ish tire for 17's. I'd like to stay clear of the BFG AT's though. What do yall think about the Cepeck fun country AT's?
Any other options?

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 40k, but they've been pushed further than I like. I'd say 35-37k is when they should have been replaced.
Ok back on subject please.....this is AT discussion.

I replaced a set of Toyo Open Country A/T's with the M/T's and I like them much better! The A/T's didn't wear as well as I had hoped, but I still got 45k out of them. The M/T's seem to be doing a lot better! I'd go with the M/T's again.

I have been running the Pro Comp Extreme AT s for about 25k and they do very well in all situations I have put them thru to include daily driving, mud, rocks (not much rocks but some) and some hauling.
2 weeks ago I hauled 2 yards of composted topsoil, with the tires pumped up to 50 they performed just fine. This is my first set of Extreme ATs but I have had very good luck and tread life with the Pro Comp ATs. The bigger lugs of the extreme makes a little more noise but that can't be heard if the turbo is pushing air .
Good luck!!!

I am running 315's Yokohama Geolander's on my Oilfield truck ('05 3500). Put them on this winter and did excellent in the snow & mud. They have 10,000+ miles and still look close to new. Maybe 3/32'nds worn off so far. They have a 60,000 mile warranty from Discount Tire.

I like my Mickey Thompson ATZ's there only a D rating but are holding up quite good. Got at least 20K on them and there is still lots of tread left. There quiet and gotten me through everything I have needed too.

Im running the Cooper ST in a 35x12.50x17 and love them. I drive alot of highway so i went with an all terrain but i also farm so am off the road quite a bit pulling trailers and what not so i needed an all terrain with some bite to it as well. The Cooper ST is working great! Not too loud, are wearing like iron, and plenty of traction when you need it
