Any of you guys know about this? I went into the local dealer to get a fuel filter Saturday and he said he didn't have any because they had been recalled. He said he should have some new ones early this week and that was all he could tell me. He didn't know why they were recalled.

I could hope dodge is switching to a better filtration. But I doubt it.

 

Just took my truck in for some A/C work. They are making them change from the 10 micron filters to the 7 micron. That is what is going on. You can get one of these filters cheaper at www.genosgarage.com. It is the premium filter for $14.00.

 

I just had a new filter installed by the dealer last week as part of the rollover valve recall.
I would say it is the old one. Wonder if they would replace it for the newer 7 micron one?
