Rear end locker??

Anyone run a mini-spool or a full locker? Also does the 04.5 2WD have a limited slip?

Did someone actually start making something for the AAMs??????
IMO,
I wouldn't run a mini or full spool. I have used them in most of my wheeling rigs and drove some on the hwy. Talk about chewing up a set of tires in a few k miles...... If one tire is off to the other in pressure or diamiter, there will be a kick to that side every bump you hit. Just my .02.

I've check with ARB, Nothing!
I've checked with Richmond (powertrax, ect) Nothing!
I've checked with Detroit, Nothing!
I've checked out Auburn, Nothing!

This year, Eaton is suppose to come out with an E-Locker for the 9.25 but ................. Vaporware??????????

I know firsthand that the AAM TracRite found in my 2500 should not be called an "anti-spin" axle. For my offroad driving it is worthless.

I have a detroit in my off-road rig and that thing never clicks out. I dont think the rear end is ever far off from each other to unlock it. Thats why I asked about the mini-spool. But as of now there isnt anything out there for the 04+ rear axles?

Edit: Just found out that I either have a Dana 60 or Dana 70. There is suppose to be a 6 digit stamp on my axle tube but i couldnt find it. Anyway anyone would know what a 04.5 2500 2WD would have. I would venture to guess a D60. Also Detroit makes lockers for both, $609 for D60 and $617 for D70.

Someone smarter than me will probably chime in but I'm pretty sure Dodge quit using the Dana axle in '02.

Anyway anyone would know what a 04.5 2500 2WD would have.
American Axle Manufacturing (AAM) (Saginaw) 11.5 inch ring gear. Does your option tag show "Anti-Spin" option? Then you have the worthless (to me) TracRite.

I called 4wheelparts.com and gave them my vehicle info 2004 ram 2500 and he said its either a D60 or D70. He could be wrong, I am pretty sure people here know more about it then someone taking orders and punching keys.
