Re-booting Smarty???

Has anyone tried re-booting their smarty?? On my problem, in thread 'help please...', that's the next step I'm thinking....unless someone has another idea.

Not sure what the question is. Reloading the SMARTY software or resetting the ECM? If resetting the ECM pulled the positive batteries leads for about 15 minutes.

I went back and read your issues. Wonder if you can load the standard SMARTY software and download to the ECM without the POD functionality? Verifying if it's a POD issue.

Re-loading the software into the smarty itself.....already did the batts. numerous times...

I'm kinda leaning on that when I pulled the fuse and relay, that it messed with the ecu which is linked to the smarty and messed up the smarty also.(???)

Just to make it clear, I'm NOT bashing the smarty at all....imo this is a killer programmer, all the fine tuning capabilties is by far the best bang for the buck.

I just got off the phone with a tech. (new friend) and he thinks that the ecu might have messed with the programmer and that I should try re-booting the smarty also.....

Someone pm'd me and stated something about being able to hold down 2 buttons at the same time to refresh the pod, but he can't remember which 2. Anyone know besides me going back and doing the whole system again, that was a pain for me dealing with the 7zip thing.

Just a reminder, I have the TNT-R tune and I do still have it saved........
