Rating on my stock alloy rims?
Anyone know off hand? I've got 17" alloy rims, the SLT stock choice. I'd like to run heavier tires and I'm not sure what pressure/weight the rims can take. I know it's stamped on the back but I have not had time to pull one off and look yet...
I guess I can pick up some less pricey steel wheels and maybe run a 16" G rated tire for better load capacity? Any suggestions? This all for towing, no racing or off-road etc.

I've called everyone I could think of, including Dodge to find out the weight rating of my stock wheels, & even Dodge couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me what it was. All they would say is "The wheels are rated to carry the weight rating of the vehicle hey were installed on" I told them that answer didn't tell me anything, & the guy laughed, & said him too. & that was the end of it. I bought some new wheels that I knew the rating.
